January 15, 2006...TUCSON Ariz. --- Sprint Car Racing League Race Coordinator Hal Burns met with
officials from Hollywood Hills Speedway in San Felipe, N.M and Route 66 Motor
Speedway in Amarillo, Texas Friday.
Burns is in negotiations about potential race dates for the new SCRL National
East-West Tour and the Southwest Series.
The National East-West Tour?s first race was at the Roger McCluskey Classic
Jan. 1 in Tucson, Ariz. and Burns is currently in the process of scheduling
events at tacks in the Southeast, along Interstate 40.
The tour will pay $5,000 to win and $400 to start and according Burns who is
attending the Chill-Bowl Classic in Tulsa, Okla. he as received a lot of
interest from drivers.
Burns is heading to Savannah Ga. for meetings with Oglethorpe Speedway on
Monday.
