ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPRINTS CONTINUE MAY 13 |

May 1, 2006 – Defending USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Champion Jimmy Wysong of Salt Lake City, Utah will lead the series into its second 2006 event, May 13, at Rocky Mountain Raceways in the Utah capital. Wysong took the early 2006 point lead with his victory in the series opener Saturday at the 3/8-mile paved oval. He led the final 17 laps of the 40-lap race after passing Ryan Burdett on lap 24. Fast qualifier Dave Fitzgerald finished second ahead of Jim Campbell, Burdett and Rick Pardee.
