K&N ENGINEERING BECOMES
PRESENTING SPONSOR OF SILVER CROWN SERIES
|
January 22, 2006...AVONDALE, Ariz. - K&N Engineering of Riverside,
Calif., a leading innovator of filters in the automotive industry, has signed on
as the presenting
sponsor for the USAC Silver Crown Series and as the official oil and air filters
of USAC, effective today.
The two-year agreement extends through the 2007 season and includes contingency
and year-end award postings.
"We're very happy that after three years as a sponsor that K&N has
stepped up its program and become the presenting sponsor for the USAC Silver
Crown Series," said Steve Farmer, USAC's National Director of Sales and
Marketing. "We look forward to building an even longer lasting partnership
with K&N as we build the program for future expansion."
Added Charles Maier, K&N Engineering Director of Sports Marketing: "The
USAC
organization is the best place for grassroots racing, which encompasses the
majority of our customer base, at least that's the way we see it. Our company
employs several grassroots racers, so it's something that we're part of. It
seems a natural fit to be the presenting sponsor of the Silver Crown Series and
an official sponsor of USAC."
