GAS
CITY, Ind. (August 12, 2006)- Throwing his hat into the mix for O'Reilly Sprint
Bandits COMP Cams Tour 'N Topless Midwest Swing title honors, Indianapolis racer
Shane Hollingsworth tuned up with a win in Friday night's 25-lap weekly feature
at Gas City I-69 Speedway.
Hollingsworth,
who recently joined forces with the Trucker's 24-Hour Road Service No. 10 team,
made a daring move to take the lead from Travis Welpott on the eighth lap then
fought off Shane Cottle to secure the win.

is a nice paycheck, and now we're heading out west for the Sprint Bandits TNT
swing and hopefully we can come back with a lot of that money," an enthused
Hollingsworth told the large crowd in victory lane.

took his first checkered flag aboard the Trucker's No. 10 in front of Cottle,
who finished seventh in Tuesday night's Sprint Bandits TNT Southern Iowa
Speedway Ultimate Challenge event, with Ultimate Challenge runner-up Bryan
Clauson finishing third aboard the Goacher No. 5g.
Dave
Darland and current Sprint Bandits TNT point leader Cory Kruseman bounced back
to finish ninth and tenth, respectively, after a mid-race tangle.
