March 27,
2006...Bryan Clauson, the 16 year old development driver for Chip Ganassi Racing and
current United States Auto Club (USAC) stand-out, has been named as the
official Spokesperson for the Quarter Midgets Of America (QMA) racing club.
"QMA is very fortunate to have such a great role model to represent our
sport. We are all behind this young man 100%. We wish him the very best in his
racing career and will always feel blessed to have had him as a part of our
sport. Thank you Bryan for all you have done for QMA." says Charlie
Cagle, QMA President
Clauson, who was a QMA competitor in Region 10 and Region 4, will be
acting as an ambassador for the QMA, as well as serving as a mentor for
current QMA participants. A former QMA National Champion, the Noblesville, IN
teenager attributes much of his current career success to the foundation he
was able to build from racing with QMA.
"I'm really excited about being the Spokesperson for QMA, as that
organization has done so much for me personally. Not only was I able to gain
the fundamentals of racing through this organization, but also, QMA helped me
to develop as a person as well. So much of the focus of QMA is about
life skills, such as goal setting and decision making, with the emphasis being
on friendship and family. I feel truly honored to have been chosen to
represent QMA, and look forward to giving back and serving as a role model to
the current members of this great organization", remarks Clauson.
QMA is is a non-profit organization with over 2,500 family memberships
and approximately 4,000 drivers. There are 13 Regions in the QMA organization
and 50 Quarter Midget Clubs Nationwide, all catering to young drivers 5-16
years of age. To learn more about how you can become involved with QMA, log on
