April 23, 2006...Joey "The Ace" Aguilar continued his winning ways in Central Florida
Wingless Sprint Car action on Saturday Night at The Charlotte County
Speedway in Punta Gorda. Aguilar started 7th on the field and took the lead
from Jimmy Alvis who started on the pole on lap 7 and cruised home for the
win. This was a sweep for Aguilar who was the winner of his heat earlier in
the evening. Aguilar remains unbeaten in Central Florida Wingless Sprints as
he has won his heat and feature in both events so far this season. Scott
Adema took second from Alvis late in the race, Alvis would finish third with
Daryl Smith and Dennis Misuraca rounding out the top 5. Heat races went
to Aguliar and Rusty Dixon.
