Important Information and Upcoming Dates
 for All VRA Members and Competitors

(Oxnard, CA., 12/23/2005) The following information will help you plan for the upcoming season.

1.        Ventura Raceway Organizational Meeting for 2006 Season:

Saturday January 28, Noon-4:00pm McBride Building at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.  Registration will take place for all cars, drivers, crew and teams.  Also photos will be taken for the 2006 programs of all drivers.  If you want your photo in a driver’s suit, please be sure to bring it with you. Questions and answer session, schedules will be available on this day as well.

2.                  Saturday February 18: 2005 Season Awards Banquet.  More information at the Organizational meeting.

3.                  Saturday February 25 and Saturday March 4:  Open Practice Dates, Weather permitting.  More information at the meeting on January 28.

4.                  Rules for Mini Dwarf Car Class, Junior Midgets & Junior Focus will be available after the first of the year.  Call or email with address to send to or pick up at the meeting in January.

5.                  Opening Date for 2006 will be March 11.  More at the meeting.

We are looking for workers in all areas of the track to work with us this year.  If you want to be a part of the Ventura Raceway Family, give Cliff a call at the Raceway Office daily after January 3, after 4pm , for more information.
