YEAR-END NATIONAL, WESTERN BANQUETS
SET FOR JANUARY

December 12, 2005...Championship-winning car owners and drivers, Rookies
of the
Year and other special award recipients will be among those honored for their
achievements and support during both of USAC's 2005 banquets, set for January.
The Western States Award Banquet will honor those who competed in the Valvoline
USAC/CRA and Western Sprint Car Series and the Western Midget Car Series, as
well as the Young Automotive Group Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series and
California Ford Focus Pavement and Dirt Midget Car Series. The Western Banquet
is set for Jan. 7 at the Radisson Knott's Berry Farm Resort in Buena Park,
Calif.
Many of those accepting Western awards will also receive honors at the National
Banquet, which is scheduled for Jan. 28 at the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis. The
Western award recipients will join those from the National and Speedrome
Regional divisions as well as all of USAC's Ford Focus divisions.
Tickets are available for both banquets, which include dinners. Prices for the
Western Banquet are $40 per person, and tables may be reserved only for groups
of ten, paid in full.

Tickets for the National Banquet, tabbed the 50th "Night of
Champions," are currently on sale for $75 per person. The affair is
black-tie optional and includes a dinner, and several special guests have been
invited to represent USAC's 50 years of competitive racing.
