| Rick Ziehl leads the way to Hawaii in the top ten in the SCRL Southwest Sprint Car Series! |

September 27, 2005...
Rick Ziehl from Las Cruces, NM leads Johnny Herrera from Albuquerque, NM by
six points leading into the closing events in November. Ron Clark from Tucson,
AZ follows Herrera by ten points as the chase to Hawaii comes closer.
Jon Taylor from Albuquerque, NM moved from fith to fourth putting Jason Tanner
in fith and Bo Baker sixth, Scott Box also from Albuquerque moved into seventh.
Mike Martin eigth and Brandon Lane ninth, both from Arizona are what you
would call being put on the bubble for the trip to Hawaii. Shawn Sander from
El Paso, Texas also is on the bubble setting on tenth place.
The top ten in points will receive an invitation to take their sprint
cars to Hawaii over the Turkey Day Holidays and compete against the
Hawaiian Sprint Car Teams in a two day shootout!
Joe Herrera car owner of Johnny Herrera's car takes over the points lead from
Joe Morales, car owner of Ron Clarks in Car owner points, by 12 points. Bill
Richard from Albuquerque, NM owner of Jason Tanners car follows in third, by
66 points.
