| Johnny Herrera wins at Thunder Raceway in Show Low, Arizona, and sneaks up on Rick Ziehls point lead by ten points! |

September 26, 2005...
Rick Ziehl finished second in the feature behind Johnny Herrera, but was able
to keep his lead by six points on the Sothwest Sprint Car Series points chase
in front of a near capacity crowd! Ron Clark from Tucson,
Arizona driving the Morales Sprinter got the Goodyear Hard Charger award from
starting from the last starting position and finishing 7th.
Jesse Baker from Grants, NM. had a good run finishing third in the feature and
winning the Goodyear Dash for Cash holding off Ziehl and Clark.
Herrera, Ziehl, and Bo Baker, Jesse Bakers father won the Heat Races
leading up to the last sprint car Main Event raced at Thunder Raceway this
season. Thunder Raceway will have one more weekend of racing before the winter
down time to prepare for next years racing season.
Sprint Car Racing League has commided to at least five Southwest Sprint
Car Series events to Thunder Raceway for next years racing season!
