| Southwest Sprints Event Postponed at Barona, California! |
|
September 1, 2005...The labor day weekend event scheduled at Barona
Speedway has been postponed due to the high cost of fuel transporting from New
Mexico and Arizona for the participants and for the environment that has been
created due to the recent National needs to conserve our National Resources. A
future date to reschedule this event has yet to be determined. SCRL Race Director Hal Burns had a mild heart attack on July 28th, and the needed rest through the Labor Day Weekend would be a welcomed break. The Sprint Car Racing League sends it's condolences to those that are suffering from the recent tragedies from Hurricane Katrina. -Sprint Car Racing League- www.scrlracing.com |
