(JANUARY 15, 2005, PERRIS, CA) Perris Auto Speedway will hold a
Pre-Season Training Camp for all divisions of racecars this Saturday (January
22nd) afternoon and all fans will be admitted free to the grandstands. It will
be the first practice session of the 2005 season at The PAS.
The Vista Paint Sports Bar will be open for fans and will be serving $1.00
pizza, sodas and beer. In addition, there will be racing videos on the big
screen in the sports bar, giveaways to some lucky fans during the day and
interviews with some of the drivers on hand.
Representatives of Perris Auto Speedway will be available to answer questions
fans may have and season seats will be on sale as well.
In addition to free admission, fans will get free parking. The entrance for fan
parking will be Gate “A” off the Ramona Expressway. That is the same gate as
the pit parking lot and early arriving fans will have a chance to get an up
close look at the cars and will be able to meet many of the drivers. The pit
gate and the spectator gate will both open at 1:00 PM.
The 2005 Perris Auto Speedway season opens in a little over two weeks when
Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply presents the Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Cars on
Saturday afternoon, February 5th. The following Saturday, February 12th, the
PASSCAR Super Stocks, Ramona Tire Street Stocks, RWD Extreme Trucks &
SUV’s, CarQuest Hornets and the Pick-A-Part Cruisers will open their 2005
campaign.
Perris Auto Speedway is conveniently located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds,
home of the Southern California Fair, approximately one hour east of Los
Angeles. Take the 215 Freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go east two and
a half miles to the fairgrounds.
