SNAP-ON TOOLS TROPHY DASH PURSE

(JANUARY 13, 2005, PERRIS, CA) Earlier this week, Perris Auto Speedway
announced that Snap-on Tools would be sponsoring trophy dashes for the Valvoline
USAC/CRA Sprint Cars at The PAS in 2005. On Thursday, the purse for the dashes
was released. The first of 19 Snap-on Tools Trophy Dashes will take place when The PAS opens its 10th Anniversary Season on Saturday, February 5th. Each dash will be comprised of the four fastest qualifiers and will be three laps long. The purse for each dash will be $500.00. The payout will be: 1st Place $200.00 2nd Place $150.00 3rd Place $100.00 4th Place $50.00 In addition, the winner of each dash will receive a $100.00 Snap-on Tools gift certificate. There will be a points system in place and at the end of the season the Perris Auto Speedway/Snap-on Tools Trophy Dash Series champion will win a $5,000.00 tool package from Snap-on. The total purse, with cash and contingencies, for the 2005 Snap-on Tools Trophy Dash Series is $16,400.00. Perris Auto Speedway will open what promises to be the best sprint car season in the tracks history in a little over three weeks when Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply presents the Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Cars on Saturday afternoon, February 5th. The following Saturday, February 12th, the PASSCAR Super Stocks, Ramona Tire Street Stocks, RWD Extreme Trucks & SUVs, CarQuest Hornets and the Pick-A-Part Cruisers will open their 2005 campaign.
