JUNE 5, 2005....The Central State Racing Association Wingless Sprints
will be displaying
their cars to fans on Tuesday nights during the summer months from June through
August in Roseville's Cruise Nights from 5pm-9pm. Every Tuesday night in
downtown Roseville, Vernon Street will shut down for four blocks to make room
for up to 150 cars, including pre 1973 classic cars, hot rods, trucks, and the
Wingless Sprints.
Admission is free, and the program also features live bands, local radio DJs,
food vendors, a farmers market, arts and crafts vendors, a beer and wine garden,
and a fun zone for the kids.
The first Roseville Cruise Night will be on Tuesday, June 7, and May 27's
feature race winner Jerry Kobza and 2004 season CSRA Champion Billy Garcia will
be showcasing their beautiful cars. Race videos will be shown, and the new 2005
CSRA tee shirts will be for sale.
The next CSRA display in Roseville will be on Tuesday, June 21, with drivers
Scott Pierson and Tony Silvera displaying their cars.
Every Tuesday night prior to a CSRA race at Sacramento Raceway through August
31, the Wingless Sprints will be making appearances at this fun venue.
