APRIL 5, 2005...Flowmaster, the official muffler of
some of the nation's top auto racing sanctioning bodies, has become the official
muffler of USAC, it was announced today.
The California-based company will serve as USAC's official muffler and specified
muffler of the Western and CRA Valvoline Sprint Car Series and Western Midget
Car Series thru 2007, starting this season.
"Flowmaster is very excited about our newly-formed partnership with the
USAC racing series," said Dale Dotson, Flowmaster Motorsports Manager.
"With state of the art Research and Design facilities, Flowmaster is
consistently improving numerous patented muffler designs and exhaust systems for
all popular makes and models of cars, trucks, RV's and all types of race
applications."
Flowmaster is currently the official muffler of ARCA and an approved muffler for
the World of Outlaws and NASCAR's Busch North Series, in addition to catering to
the NHRA.
"I know the caliber of company that Flowmaster is, and when we decided that
we wanted to be proactive from a decibel-rating standpoint in California, I
approached Flowmaster about becoming the official muffler of USAC and spec
muffler of the Western States organizations," said Steve Farmer, USAC's
National Director of Sales and Marketing. "I feel, by far, Flowmaster makes
the best quality muffler in today's aftermarket for motorsports. They'll get the
job done for us."
Through continuous product testing and development, the Flowmaster product line
has expanded rapidly over the past 15 years from its original roots in racing to
further include exhaust products for performance street, truck, RV and motorhome
applications. The company holds offices in Santa Rosa and Sacramento, Calif.
