FEBRUARY 28, 2005...Mike Kirby of
Torrance, Calif. and Charles Davis, Jr. of
Phoenix, Ariz. are tied for the point lead entering this Saturday night's
Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series event at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway.
Kirby
was the last CRA Champion (1993) prior to the series' revival last year under
USAC sanction. Davis has never won a USAC title but won a USAC Sprint Car
"special event" in Hawaii last November.

win.

Saturday night's racing program starts with practice at 6 pm. The feature will
