(October 30, 2005) Danny Olmstead captured Friday's night
preliminary SCRA 360 Nationals at Pahrump, NV going wire-to-wire in non-stop
fashion. He was trailed to the line by Chad Boespflug, Rick Zhiel, Jim
Richardson, Richard Harvey and Jonathon Logan.
Points leader Steven Williams blew the motor in his No. 93 after qualifying and
took a hard hit in the over-all standings, which will be published tomorrow
afternoon.
Heat races were won by Boespflug and Olmstead, who also won the dash and
recorded fast time in qualifications.
