WESTERN SPRINT POINT LEAD UP FOR
GRABS
AS SERIES COMPETES AT TUCSON RACEWAY PARK SATURDAY

JUNE 7, 2004...Brad Bumgarner of Chico, Calif., who finished 12th in last
year's USAC Valvoline Western Sprint Car Series standings, finds himself atop
the 2004 points going into this Saturday night's race at Tucson (Ariz.) Raceway
Park.
Bumgarner, who had three "top-10" finishes last year, has a fourth and
two thirds already this season in three starts. He leads former series champ
Tony Hunt by only seven points. Hunt has a pair of seconds this season.
A 40-lap feature caps Saturday night's program at the 1/3-mile paved oval.
Defending series champion Michael Lewis won this year opening two Western Sprint
car events and Tim Barber won May 8 at Anderson, Calif.
