San Jose, CA. Mike Coy Concrete of Walnut Creek, CA, a long
time supporter of open wheel racing has just been signed as the official sponsor
of the California Asphalt Sprintcar Association Trophy Dash Challenge. The $1000
Coy Concrete Award will be presented at the CASA Championship banquet to the
CASA driver who records the most trophy dash wins throughout the 2004 campaign.
An additional $500 will be presented to another driver who posts the most trophy
dash entries.
“This is a way to reward those drivers who consistently
qualify fast enough to make the trophy dash,” said CASA President/CEO Scott
Clough. “The trophy dash is the usually the first competition of the evening
and adding this incentive should raise the intensity and ensure an exciting
race. Coy Concrete is excited about their involvement and support of CASA and
Mike is looking forward to making his presentations come banquet time.”
