 1981 CRA Season 
-The average car count was 53 cars per race.
-The KRACO/CRA Championship point fund was $70,000 dollars

CRA had 47 race dates at 5 different tracks in 1981. 12 drivers won main events including Indy 500 winner Al Unser Jr. and World of Outlaw King, Steve Kinser.

Bubby Jones led the most laps for the year with 317. Dean Thompson had the most wins for the year with 16.

Bubby had the best passing job of the year with a 20th to 2nd. 'Ol Bub was also the California State Champion for the second year in a row.

Deano had 17 quick times, 22 heat race wins, 9 Trophy dash wins and led 314 main event laps to the Championship.

The final points score was Thompson, Jones, Oskie, Mike Sweeney, 5th in points was Wirth, followed by, Brad Noffsinger, Ron Shuman, Bob East, Rip Williams and 10th in points for the year 1981 was Walt Kennedy.
