Antioch, CA....April 2......Rebounding from a last place heat finish, Jim

feature at Antioch Speedway on Saturday night. Joey Santos had broke leading
with the three laps remaining and and Arvo Backholm finished second ahead of

midrace flat tire and drove around former track champion Don Shelton in turn 3
of the final lap to win the 25 lap dirt modified main event. Shelton ran second

Davies, rookie Mike Chandler, Fred Von Stieff and Pete DeGracia.
