(February 7, 2005- Sacramento, CA)...The 2005 Sacramento
Autorama was a car show filled with oohs and ahhs and things that
just made you smile. The theme was "Hollywood, Where the Cars
Are the Stars", and there were many. The beautiful colors, graphics, attention to detail, creativity, and the wide range of styles in over 400 cars was a feast for the eyes. Four Wingless Sprints from the CSRA displayed their cars in the Sacramento Autorama on Feb.4-6 at the Cal Expo Center. Owners Dave Emery Sr., Scott Pierson, Vic Russom, and Keith Shipherd all showed a pride of ownership by having their cars buffed, shiny, and looking brand new. Diane and Richard Basden and Sam Fries spent the better part of the entire weekend showing racing videos and distributing CSRA race schedules to many new race fans. Several participating drivers and crew members also spent many hours answering questions, watching people's reactions to the cars and videos, and just enjoying the show. Kudos to the organizers of the Autorama who managed to keep things running smoothly and on schedule, and for giving us the opportunity to showcase and promote racing, the CSRA Wingless Sprints, and our drivers.
