Founded
in November 2002, The California Asphalt Sprintcar
Association (CASA) was begun by California-based racers
looking to race true pavement sprint cars without having to
extensively travel the Western States. In 2003, through a
partnership with Altamont Raceway Park, this concept became
a reality.

CASA
runs contemporary 360 cubic-inch pavement sprint cars.

As
2005 begins, CASA is now the premier pavement-only sprint
car series in California and Western Nevada. This season
finds CASA again competing at Altamont’s high speed
half-mile, and the high-banks of Carson City, Nevada’s
quarter-mile Champion Speedway, and welcoming new partner
tracks, Ukiah Speedway in the beautiful wine country of
Mendocino County, and the immaculate one-third mile oval of
Madera Speedway in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. All
tracks are located within 150 miles of CASA’s Sacramento
base.
